Terms & Conditions

As from 14th January 2005 it became a criminal offence to sell insurance cover if you are not regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Unfortunately, this means that we are unable to provide insurance cover for your cat(s) during their stay. Those without pet insurance will be required to meet the cost of any veterinary treatment that becomes neccessary during their stay.

We require
All customers must complete a registration form for each cat with the owner contact information, details of diet, grooming, medication and contact details for their veterinary surgeon.

Cozy Catz is very happy to accept any breed and age of cat provided that:

*The cat has a valid, current vaccination certificate. We recommend a minimum of 7 days gap between receiving a booster / inoculation and entry into the cattery.This allows for any adverse reactions to the drugs.
*The cat does not require injections, or medicines which are difficult to administer.
*The cat is generally in good health and able to walk and use a litter tray.
*The cat does not have any contagious illness.
*The cat has been recently and effectively treated for flea and worm eradication
*Any male cat over 9 months has been neutered.

Our charges include:

*Food (twice daily) this will be using proprietary cat food, water, daily cleaning, heating, toys, scratch post and gentle grooming. Kittens will be fed three times daily.
*Giving prescribed medication, vitamin tablets etc, when provided by the cat's owner which is easy to administer. Sorry we cannot adminster injections.

Our charges do not include:

*Specialist grooming (e.g. Persians).
*Any medications, please provide.
*Special foods (not normally obtainable on the high street). Please provide.
*Any veterinary charges.
